The New IPhone 3G is going to launch at Singapore, It's come with GPS this time, gonna change my handphone soon to this. Getting more exited when i see it from Internet, Price Range with signing contract is from USD 199 only, it create a thread to Nokia.

Garmin Mobile XT in N78

N78,N96 using latest S60P3, feature 2 Version. this cause alot of application not able to run in N78 which including Garmin Mobile XT. User Gotta Wait for new version of Garmin Mobile XT. what a waste my friend just bought it from Singapore but it cannot be use.

I purchase my Nokia N95 on November 2007, Nokia N95 build in Internal GPS and Nokia Maps for user. Nokia Maps once subscribe, there is a trial period of 3 days of using the Navigation System, Maps and Simulation of going to position is Free of Charge.

It support lot of country, for all N Series Phone without Internal GPS you can obtain it as well, in fact you can buy external GPS receiver and connect via Bluetooth to use this service. I will further intro of how to use it in future.

Steps of using Nokia Maps
1. Obtain Nokia N Series Symbian S60/S40 or refer this link for phone support Nokia Maps, download Nokia Maps from here.
2. Install Nokia Maps to your device with Nokia PC Suite. (Make sure your phone is connected with PC)
3. Download Nokia Map Loader to your compatible PC. Map Loader helps you save on data download costs when you add new map data to Nokia Maps. (Make sure your phone is connected with PC)

Garmin

Garmin is well known of GPS device in worldwide, in Malaysia and Singapore there is a group of people http://www.malsingmaps.com/ maintain own map by contribution of POI (Point of Interest) which is the location (Good place to go) and new route in these area where as the Map provider need to spend more resource of maintaining it, i believe Malsing is the best to use after all. They accept contribution of POI instead of money to obtain their map. That is the reason this website grow fast.
